From the Founder of Read-a-thon
For years, I've worked closely with PTAs, coaches, and nonprofit leaders through Read-a-thon. I've seen firsthand the incredible work you do — and the immense amount of "invisible labor" it takes to coordinate a community.
While building tools to help schools raise millions of dollars, I noticed a growing frustration. The tools we rely on to organize our volunteers have become cluttered, slow, and — frankly — embarrassing.
The "Ad-Pocalypse" Problem
I watched as dedicated organizers sent out signup links, only to have their parents and volunteers bombarded by loud insurance ads and "bait-and-switch" buttons. I saw coaches struggling with dated interfaces that required everyone to create yet another account they would eventually forget the password for.
As a serial entrepreneur based right here in the Arlington and Mansfield area, I knew there was a better way. Our community deserves a tool that reflects the professionalism of the people using it.
The SignupHaven Mission
I built SignupHaven to be the "antidote" to the clunky, ad-filled giants of the past. We have three simple rules:
We're not just building a software company. We're building a way for you to get back to the work that actually matters.
"I've spent my career making it easier for communities to come together. SignupHaven is the most direct version of that mission — a tool that gets out of the way and lets great organizers do what they do best."
